The "black hole" is a dark place where many, many awesome songs go... and most of them never come out.

Listen: there's nothing wrong with wanting to sound your best, or with wanting the music you write to sound as good as possible.

But you have to realize something: no matter how much you tweak a song... it's never going to be "perfect."

Why not? Because "perfect" doesn't exist.

Don't let your songs get stuck in the black hole of self-doubt and perfectionism. Because once they get stuck there, they may never get back out.
