Day 18 of the Tones For Tache campaign in support of Movember 2014. For more on Movember, please go here http://uk.movember.com/

Following the showbiz-tastic, er, ‘talents’ of Tick Maylor (day 15), the Victory V40 reveal (day 16) and the sheer stupendous brilliance of Tommy Emmanuel (day 17), we’re coaxing you back towards reality with a look at a simple pedalboard.

A number of people have got in touch to ask various questions about the pedals that have appeared in a few Tones For Tache videos. The house board is in fact Mick’s own ‘simple’ pedalboard (yes, he has a bigger, more complicated one as well ). So in this video he talks through the pedals on the board and plays a few licks and phrases to demonstrate how they sound with a Gibson Derek Trucks SG.

He's playing through a Mesa Boogie Mark 5 Twenty-Five that will get its own full Tones For Tache video next week.

Nothing flash, no famous people, and no massive production – we hope you enjoy it nonetheless!

Join us tomorrow when we make a whole song out of one cost-effective acoustic guitar. Including playing drums and bass on it. Have you ever heard a silica gel packet shaker? Gadzooks - it can only be Tones For Tache!
