In today's acoustic guitar lesson, we learn how to play "Ticket To Ride" by the Beatles. This song features an iconic riff by George Harrison that mirrored John Lennon's drone-like chord progression over A and Asus2. This song was a turning point in the Beatles songwriting as they turned their attention to the influence of Indian sitar music during the mid 60's. Just like any Beatles song, learning this tune is getting a masterclass in melody, harmony, and guitar part writing all in one.
