In today's acoustic fingerpicking guitar lesson, we learn how to play "Julia" by the Beatles. This song features a rare unaccompanied guitar part by John Lennon in which he utilizes a travis picking technique on acoustic. John picked this fingerpicking technique from Donovan while they were in India where the Beatles wrote many of their acoustic songs for their upcoming double album The Beatles (White Album).
