In today's guitar lesson, we learn the best and simplest exercises to teach yourself music theory by only using the fretboard. Here, I go over how to let the fretboard and guitar actually teach us all about basic music theory including the major key including the notes, the chords, triads, and the arpeggios. By memorizing the bass notes and how to identify octaves, we can find any note within a memorized scale pattern. Furthermore, we can identify the scale degrees and roman numerals which will give us more insight into music theory.
