Today we learn chord inversions by finding and playing all of the triads that can be found in the CAGED system. In this fretboard guitar tutorial, we cover the keys of F and B, which can easily be transposed since they are barre chords, and we find every major triad in root position, 1st inversion, and 2nd inversion. These triads are all in closed positions, meaning they use three strings in a row. Triads can not only be great to play but can also map out the entire fretboard.
