In this clip from The Scene, Mark Agnesi and Norman Harris from Norman’s Rare Guitars talk about one of the most famous movie guitars of all time—the Back to the Future ES-345 guitar played by Marty McFly.
Norm recalls how both guitars from the films came through his store—one he sold to a friend, the other to a collector. Interestingly, Mark was actually working at Norman’s when one of them came in, and the woman who wanted to sell it wanted a million dollars. Watch as Norm talks about Mark telling him it was a must-buy guitar, calling it “the most important guitar in movie history,” and the reason so many players of his generation picked up a guitar.
