Need help figuring out the best microphone placement to record acoustic guitar? We recently spent an afternoon with Grammy Award-winning engineer and record producer Cameron Webb covering a variety of his favorite mic techniques. We were joined by singer-songwriter Marié Digby, who provided all of the playing examples.

Filmed at Blue Microphones HQ, this video covers mono miking technique for acoustic guitar, utilizing a Blue Bluebird SL on the lower bout of the guitar and a Blue Dragonfly on the upper bout of the guitar.
