People ask me what I like to do to warm up and what songs I like to practice, so I thought it would be fun to jam "Battery" by Metallica.

I grew up with all the iconic metal bands of the late 70s and 80s (and actually became best friends with Steve Grimmett from Grim Reaper - check out GrimmStine), and these songs have always been a BLAST to practice, as well as play live.

Battery is a great song to warm up your hands, and try to get the solos in between the rhythm playing (when you play by yourself), so I hope it inspires you to keep looking for songs that are not only fun to play, but they serve as a great experience...

Does every note need to be perfect? Maybe sometimes, but sometimes, you just need to be inspired and enjoy the moment.
