In today's guitar lesson, we learn which song spanned decades of rock and roll history. It's "Not Fade Away" by Buddy Holly and the Crickets. With covers from the Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead and the Everly Brothers, the 50's, 60's and 70's all had iconic versions. Furthermore, this groove, song and beat were all influenced by Bo Diddley with his famous "Bo Diddley Beat" which has influences in the Hambone dance and body percussion techniques from West Africa.
