In today's guitar lesson we cover what I believe to be "The Key to Improvising on Guitar". We will look at a basic loop over one chord, E Major, so we can really zone in on using our creative skills on the fretboard without thinking too much about theory. By following a few basic steps such as getting an E Mixolydian scale in our ear in one octave, we can then trust our ear to travel up and down the fretboard and let our ear correct any notes outside of that scale. I cover a few other options to consider throughout the lesson as well.
