In today's easy guitar lesson, we learn how to play "The Joker" by Steve Miller Band. This song features only three chords and an iconic acoustic guitar riff that, while originally recorded in standard D tuning, works great in standard tuning as well. By playing the song fingerstyle, we can get that warm palm-muting sound that gives us the sound of a bass as well as easily get a nice slap backbeat. This gives us a full and warm sound on just the acoustic guitar.
