In today's guitar lesson and edition of Pink Floyd Friday we learn "Octopus" by Syd Barrett. This was Syd's only single during his brief solo career. David Gilmour helped produce the album The Madcap Laughs and played drums and bass on this recording. This song is my personal favorite of Syd's solo work and has a very active strumming pattern amidst a catchy chord progression.
