In today's guitar lesson and edition of Pink Floyd Friday we cover "On the Turning Away" part 1. This song became a staple of the live tours from the 80s and 90s and features a beautiful melody, chord progression and strumming pattern which has a Irish ballad or celtic type of sound. There are a couple of measures of 6/4 so we go over each measure and strumming pattern to ensure you can play through it. Check in next week for part 2 where we cover the epic guitar solo.
