In today's guitar lesson we dive into music theory on guitar and take a look at 3 concepts when it comes to major scale basics. The major scale is crucial when it comes to learning every other scale, chord, arpeggio, triad, roman numeral, and mode because we compare everything to the major scale. We cover multiple keys as well as the major scale in all 5 shapes. We then go into the major pentatonic scale as well as finding the roots of common chord progressions.
