Today we learn how to play three Lydian Mode Licks which I composed for this lead guitar lesson in which we also break down the music theory of the Lydian mode and scale. Lydian is a beautiful mode that is heavily feautred in film music, jazz, rock, and metal. It's quality is mysterious and hopeful, and it is a lot of fun to improvise in. I also teach you the Lydian chord as well as a few scale shapes to get started with.
