In today's acoustic guitar lesson, we learn how to play "In the Pines (Where Did You Sleep Last Night)" by Leadbelly. This song was made famous beyond the folk and bluegrass world by Nirvana on their Unplugged album. Leadbelly tunes his guitar all the way down to a standard B, a whopping 5 half-steps down, making for a deliciously low guitar part. This song features both alternate bass as well as melodic bass lines between the chords.
