In today's guitar lesson we learn how to improvise over chord progressions. Improvising has proved to offer endless hours of fun and improvement and I hope to share some secrets with you. This video starts from the basics of starting with the key of a basic chord progression or song and working up from there in deepening your level of understanding and application. From the parent scale, to roman numerals, to triads and beyond, we go step by step through a process that should provide you with an endless variety of melodic and harmonic options to improvise over.
