In today's guitar lesson, we learn how to play "I Shall Be Released" by The Band and written by Bob Dylan. This is a great example of a beautiful song that can be played in many keys easily by understanding the roman numerals. For instance, while the Band's version is in E, Bob Dylan's version is in A and Jerry Garcia's version is in G. I cover chord progression in terms of roman numerals so that you can play this song in any version you'd like before going over some basic fills you can play between the lyrics.
