In today's guitar lesson and edition of Pink Floyd Friday we learn how to bend like David Gilmour on acoustic guitar. While bending is more difficult on acoustic, it's not at all impossible as is evidence on the acoustic guitar solos of "Wish You Were Here". Since all the same principles apply between acoustic and electric, any efforts spent bending on acoustic will surely transfer over and make the job easier when tried on electric.
