Here's my method for tackling tricky guitar parts:

Step 1: Listen on repeat
Take that little section - that "block" - and listen to it over and over again. Get it stuck in your head!

Step 2: Slow it down mentally
When you first start playing it, you're probably NOT gonna nail it at full speed (and that's okay!). So you need to understand how the rhythm works first.

The key? Get it in your brain BEFORE you try to play it at full speed. Hear it, feel it, then play it.

Speed comes later. Understanding comes first! ????
