"Gambia" by Sona Jobarteh. In today's guitar lesson we learn how to play "Gambia". This song features a repeating riff which is very rhythmically active and indicative of the West-African or mandinkan musical style. This style of music is heavily influenced by the Kora, a 21-string harp-lute. Kora melodies generally are quick and rhythmically syncopated.
