We’ll learn this first pattern of the bunch and play using alternate picking in groups of three notes. Then we’ll work on a ‘groups of four’ sequence that duplicates certain notes within the pattern to make it roll nicely. The sequence works great as a warmup but is also tasty enough to use in solos.
