Late 2013 saw Fender revisit the 'silverface' period for the first time when it announced the new '68 Custom Series: a Twin Reverb, Princeton Reverb and Deluxe Reverb that combine the spirit of an era with a few contemporary tweaks, rather than providing exacting recreations of the original models.
