Two fast, but easy guitar licks for rock and blues! In this lesson I break down two of my favorite guitar soloing ideas, and show you how you can follow a basic blues chord progression. The ability to 'transpose' your licks from key to key and chord to chord will add a ton of variation to your lead guitar playing, while expanding your use of the fretboard. These licks are drawn from the blues pentatonic scale, however our first lick borrows the major third of the ionian (major scale), giving it a much more refined sound. Lets get started!
