In today's fingerstyle guitar lesson we learn how to play "The Boys of Summer" by Don Henley. This song is a ton of fun to play in a solo fingerstyle arrangement. We also cover the tasteful electric guitar riffs played by Mike Campbell, the guitarist of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers who co-wrote this song with Henley. I also cover how to play the chorus in a chord-melody style, something which will improve your musicianship as well as guitar playing.
