In today's guitar lesson, we learn how to play "Southern Cross" by Crosby, Stills & Nash. With only three chords, this song is easy to learn for any level yet offers a great lesson in energetic strumming, groove, and rhythmic timing. Music theory Wise, it’s a great example of how only three chords can be shuffled in various ways to convey multiple keys and sections that give contrast and depth.
