In today's guitar lesson we go through a complete triad workout and learn every major chord in a key. We can do this by drawing each triad from the five shapes of CAGED and then playing the IV and V (4 and 5) chords of each triad in that same area of the fretboard. We go through 12 popular songs using this method and play them all over the neck and strings. This is such a powerful exercise for anyone who wants to really learn the fretboard and understand how to see and play chord progressions across the neck.
