In today's acoustic guitar lesson, we learn how to play "Beat It" by Michael Jackson. This hit features the brilliant guitar playing of Steve Lukather and also a blistering guitar solo from Eddie Van Halen. The intro and hook is a must know rock guitar riff, while the rhythm parts over the chord progression are examples of tightly arranged studio parts, crafted by Lukather and Quincy Jones. I also show how to play the riff up the neck as well to make the song a more acoustic friendly arrangement.
