In part 1 (https://youtu.be/K_m8a9XJYJA), I went over the pentatonic scale, and how you can use if for soloing. In part 2, I'm going to tell you a little about the major diatonic (7-note) scale.

The major diatonic scale has 7 notes. Those notes combine to create 7 chords.

3 of those chords (the I, IV, and V) are major. 3 of them (the ii, iii, and vi) are minor. The other chord is diminished.
